Sebastian repeated what he'd read once in a book about art and started arranging his art supplies on the table. His hand was bandaged and hurt when he held a pencil to take notes. He didn't look up until he was finished, keeping his voice low so the other kids couldn't hear him.
"I'm not very artistic. But I'm glad you're my partner today."
He gave Leo a small smile.
His usual partners didn't outright bully him in front of the teacher, but they weren't easy to work with either.
